Unit 12-201 Condo Photos - Guest Bedroom

Above is a view from the doorway leading into the guest bedroom, which is located at the
"back" of the unit, facing the garage and the entryway leading up to the front door. Please note
that In all of the 1-bedroom units and pseudo 2-bedroom units (i.e. 1-bed units with a converted
loft) at this resort, the master bedroom is located here, at the back of the unit, which is not
preferred! A big advantage of the true 2-bedroom units at this resort, like our unit, is that the
master bedroom is located on the front side of the unit, right off the lanai and facing the ocean.
Shown at the right is the wall-mounted 32 inch LCD TV with DVD/VHS player and Xbox game
console.

The Guest Bedroom (i.e., second bedroom) is unusually large and includes both a queen bed and an
extra-long twin bed! This arrangement provides a variety of sleeping options for guests. Both beds and
mattresses were purchased in 2007. Two windows along the east wall and a ceiling fan can be used to
bring in the cooler air at night. If preferred, this room can also be cooled separately from the rest of the
condo using the tri-zone central air system. The newly installed oak laminate flooring, identical to that in
the master bedroom, gives the room a neat, clean appearance. Wall-to-wall carpeting is not a very good
idea for homes in Hawaii because of the higher humidity. We are pleased to have clean, high quality
flooring throughout our unit; either wood laminate or ceramic tile. Our guests also appreciate it!

The photo above shows the west wall of the bedroom, which contains two windows. By keeping the
windows open and the ceiling fan on high, this bedroom can be kept cool most of the year without the
need for AC.
