Photos above and below were taken from the southwest corner of building #12. Visible is the walkway
leading to the front door of our unit. The Kona Coast Resort grounds are extremely well maintained - as
good as any we've seen on this island!

The above photo shows the south side of our building. Our unit is on the 2nd floor. We have the great
advantage of being an end-unit, so we have two extra sets of very large windows lining the south side
of our unit. These windows are fabulous for letting the the fresh Kona breezes circulate into the living
and dining rooms.

The advantage of the 2nd floor and 3rd floor units are that the lanais are elevated from the ground and
thus are very secure. You can leave the lanai sliding doors open during your stay without having to be
concerned about someone entering from ground level. Please also note that he lanais on the 2nd floor
units are completely shaded and stay much cooler than those on the 3rd floor, which get heated from
the direct sunlight.

Above and below are some photos of the back side of the condo, showing the lanais, which face the
ocean. Our condo is on the second floor and is an end-unit, so we have no neighbors on one side. As
you can tell from these photos the lanai is huge, and is well elevated from the ground, so it is quite
secure, compared with those of ground floor units.
